The folks at MoonBots are at it again. Entries are open for the 2012 student competition to build a LEGO Moon Robot. The competition is sponsored by none other than X-Prize, LEGO, Google, and a slew of other far viewing folks. The competition is broken into two phases: in Phase I, students submit their ideas about why they should be chosen to move onto Phase II. In Phase II, those chosen in Phase I will get free LEGOs with which to build their creations. That’s right – free LEGOs! So not only do you get to join the ranks of one Burt Rutan by competing in an X-Prize competition, but you also get FREE LEGOs!
So all you 9-17 year olds out there, put on your thinking caps and get to work. To enter Phase I, you need a team biography, a team photo, a team video, and a couple of write-ups around why you should be the ones chosen and what you’ll do with your free LEGOs! The Phase I Entry Deadline is July 15, 2012 at Midnight PT…
