The Deck is a set of 97 letters randomly organized. Letters are played from left to right from the deck. Five letters are shown to allow for some planning ahead. All the letters are represented here even Z and Q which require some careful planning to use. Each letter is worth points. Some letters are worth more points based on how hard they are to use to actually spell a word. For example, Z and X are worth 100 points, while the vowels are only worth 10 points.
A word’s score is the sum of the letters multiplied by the word’s length. Check out the Instructions & Help page for a complete list of letter points.
In Classic and Stacked modes, you get unlimited decks (served out one at a time), however in Clear the Board and Timed modes you get only one deck.
Hint: Keep an eye on your minimum word length on your level start page. In early levels, you can spell 3 letter words, but soon you’ll find yourself scrambling to spell 4 and 5 letter words just to keep up!
