Who are we?
At Southwest Gecko we make Games. We like to make games that make you think. That keep you entertained. That are unique, and are fun.
In May 2013, we released our first Game Title, String Theory: a Word Game. String Theory is a mash up of word game fun awesomeness and stellar game play with some classic arcade elements. You start with a blank 6×6 grid and a deck of letters. You get to spell words on the grid using the letters in order from the deck. Every 5 seconds or so, the string sweeps the board and scores all the words you’ve spelled and clears them off the board. Spelling intersecting words gets rewarded…most of the time. So think fast, spell fast, and don’t let the timer run out. You can get your copy from the App Store. Right now. Seriously. Stop thinking about it and just get it. It’s a buck. You can’t even get the foam off the top of that fancy coffee you drank this morning for a buck. But you can get String Theory. And its awesomness will blow you away.

Right now we’re working on some upgrades to String Theory that will rock your world. We’ll have a multiplayer version rocking the App Store soon. And we’re tossing around the possibility of taking it to console…
Southwest Gecko is a two man team. There’s a saying in the industry (I didn’t say which industry), that if you get your Eric/k quotient high enough, you’re guaranteed to succeed. Well we’re batting 1000 right now, so watch out world.
